Summer On

So much is happening every day that I’m losing track. The final planting of, potatoes, melons, winter squash and beans, mostly for the CSA, have all been planted. Additionally salad crops, head lettuce, leeks, carrots, beets… Pretty much anything we grow has gone in in the past few weeks! Lots to keep track of.
We’ve begun selling at a third market every week, Saturday morning, at the Sonoma Community Center. We’re hoping that market will grow.
Some of you might be familiar with Sonoma Wholesale Nursery, that is next to us. The owner, Paul Martinez, has offered us about an acre and a half that he is not using. It’s sort of rocky ground. You might see organic rocks for sale pretty soon!

Cardoon flowers are really beautiful.

Cucumbers are flowering now.

Beautiful morning

Winter squash is coming up.
